MOC Work Plan
Montering structure (For Enumeration)
Regional Monitors:
Sudan
has been divided into 9 regions:
1. Khartoum
2. Northern Region
3. Eastern Region
4. Central Region
5. Kordfan Region
6. Darfur Region
7. Bahr Elghazal
8. Upper Nile Region
9. Equtoria Region
To each region there are two monitor
assigned to it, one is National and the other is
International.
The to total regional monitors are (eighteen).
State Monitors
To each state from the 25 states of
the Sudan two monitors are assigned, one of them is
International and the other is National.
MOC
State Monitors
The members of the MOC who represent
the State is assigned to his State as MOC monitor. He
has established small monitering group representing the
political parties in said State together with other
civil society representative (at least 5member) to
co-ordinate and co-operation with the state monitors for
report writing.
County
Moniters
To fill the gap between the state and
the enumeration area MOC has county monitors each county
has at least two monitors.
Moniters at County Levels
The Teachers Union is requested to
prepare 300 qualified teachers with previous experience
in census, all of them were trained screened as 150 of
them were posted to different counties. 133 of them
where posted to south and 190 of them are posted to the
northern region.
According to MOC –Plan the gap
between the state and the county should be bridged by
the presence of such team the team of reference of the
team is as is follows:
1.
To help the MOC state monitors by
its co-ordination with the numeration areas.
2.
To draw the attension of the MOC
state monitors to areas where it needs more attentive
work
3.
The team is working under the
supervisor of MOC state representive the team has
nothing to do with the state report and can report
directly to MOC Chair after the mission ends.
4.
The team has nothing to do with
writing the state report and can report.
5.
No any financial commitment,
transportation, accommodation …etc .Should be given to
the team by the MOC state monitor nor by State.
6.
The team should be distributed by
the MOC state representive to different Mahaliat in the
State to MOC state monitor.
7.
The team should provide reports on
the coverage to the enumeration all over the Mahalia to
MOC State monitor.
8.
The team mission is terminated
after the monitoring of the retrival of the
questionnaire(safety and security) handling and
transportaion
9.
MOC is catering for the finance of
this mission (county monitors) as well as the MOC state
monitors, from its own resources. |
