MOC welcome all those who enter its website. We present
ourselves as an independent committee responsible
observing and monitoring the fifth population census, to
ensure comprehensive coverage of all the Sudan.
The census is based on the principle and knows
measures. It is done in a transparent manner from time
to time the committee presents its view and suggestion
regarding the various census process including
collecting of data evaluation of questionnaires mapping
and tabulation and experimental caucus up to phase of
counting of ending data declaration of results and
findings. All the above work is reported the fifth
population census cuneal - at the republic’s presidency.
It also prepares the final report of the census process
in Sudan.
The MOC is one of four committee affiliated to
the population census cuneal, other committees are the
technical committee, media committee and the financial
committee.
Since this is a unique census the committee is
composed of sixty independent, neutral indictors
represent me from state cuneil, representative from all
states civil society political parties Unions University
lectures. And donors (Dutch fund) Parish fund, European
fund frock fund American fund)
It also includes retinal offices in Ethiopia,
Egypt Uganda Canada USA Africa Union Arab league and UN
population organization.
The committee held eight meetings seven of
them in Khartoum and one in Juba – Southern Region. It
has also corned capacity building workshop in Khartoum
and Juba.
In accordance with its regulation the
committee formed smaller committee which has convened
(12) meeting and it is compassed of donors and
representing of the political parties for daily
monitoring to achieve transparency.
The committee state in an article of its
regulation that any qualified presents earn be accepted
as a monitor.
Due to exceptional condition in Darfur and the
faith two offices have been closeted in Juba and Genana
so as to observe two interlaid part of Sudan.
The state council, appreciating the
committee’s role, as an emergency committee, rented it a
residence to give it its independence.
